Spider-Man gets word from Captain America and his Secret Avengers that they want him to join their side after his recent announcement on television that he stands against the Registration Act. Wilson Fisk, the Kingpin, is visited in prison by his attorney that they have been given the location of Spider-Man plus two (Mary Jane and Aunt May) in a motel. Fisk soon declares that he wishes a "bonus" to be delivered. As Spider-Man plans their next move with Cap and others, an assassin has Mary Jane and Aunt May in the sights of a sniper rifle.
